Dear Friends, I am so thankful for your support of my small business. I am honored to have you choose my templates to document your memories, and that's a BIG thing. I know I've already shared with you about my Mama and her passing in March of this year. She was a huge part of my life, and she made holidays and special events super special, from the food to the table settings to the conversation. Thanksgiving loomed large in front of me and my sister and we struggled to decide how we would celebrate.  Last year, one week before Thanksgiving, Mama's health condition worsened. We were so blessed that she bounced back to have one last Thanksgiving with us. This photo is her sitting in a recliner at the dining room table, directing us in getting all the food ready. I think she really enjoyed being the Thanksgiving Queen and waving her wand so that everything was done to her satisfaction. While my heart continues to hurt oh-so-badly, I can and have and will continue to tell God how angry, sad, hurt, and depressed I am. Yet also there is this truth: I wouldn't hurt this bad if my Mama wasn't the woman she was. Even without her here, I'm blessed beyond measure because of all she poured into me, and I thank God for giving me the gift of my Mama. Mama loved deeply. She gave of herself selflessly. She worked to make our lives better. She instilled a love for beautiful things. She encouraged us to be creative. And the biggest thing that I remember is how my Mama was so very kind and welcoming to anyone who came to her home. Our Thanksgiving was different this year. We had an "Italian" Thanksgiving. The lasagna and fettuccini alfredo were made by me and Anna, but our pies/desserts were all purchased. They tasted **almost** as good as Mama's creations. What matters is that we were together, we were thankful, and that's the heart of Thanksgiving. Here's a look at our table and food this year. I hope that those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving had an equally wonderful day with friends, family, and good food. If you don't celebrate, I'm sending wishes for a marvelous end to this year.
